(04/15/06) Oh man oh man, some time has passed since I was here last.
I was just now watching a tape recorded by a friend months ago,
and there was Santana playing a song from his new work: "All That I Am".
Santana? New songs? That stuff belongs to LIFE, for sure,
and I haven't had much of it in , oh, about 2.5 years? What a ride!
I am getting ready to defend my dissertation on May 6!
It will be a sweeeeeeeeeeeeet birthday gift, for sure.....
Afterwards, I will have the summer to finish with classes,
with the final dissertation editing, and the field practicum.
Then, off to internship and to more unpaid (almost, anyways) work..
But at least it will be for a good cause. No, I am not referring to
getting my degree, but to helping people in need.
That is a good enough reason; But I'll take the degree too!

I think I want to go dancing after this..
